Artist and Photographer William Kauffman
Why don't you teach Photography Bill?
After a long time thinking about what else I can do to help others, and the repeated request for help and understanding of photography from others. I will start teaching photography again starting July 1st, 2010.
This is something that I did back when photography was taken with a 35mm film camera, back then I did it whenever I had the chance. After shooting digital for 4 years, I am now at a comfort level where I can help others.
Teaching and photography are both an equal passion of mine as well as working with people. Teaching photography to individuals one on one has always been the best way for me to learn, and is also the best way for me to teach.
Did you ever have a drive to figure something out, or wonder how someone did this or that? I do all the time. I quest daily to develop my skills as a photographer, actor, singer, and spiritualist, and along the process hope to become better at everything I do. We only have today or this moment to live, but as long as we are around for the moment, we should always be doing something to improve ourselves in talent, and spirituality. So then we become faced with how do I go about fulfilling our quest, going to a class, online research, asking someone, practicing, or figuring it out our self. I say all the above, even then we become disabled because of the, who, what, why, where, and when.

My photography sessions are not formal and have no fixed schedule, and works around the, who, what, why, where and when. Your questions become the topic of the session. From the very basic, like camera operation to the more complex like setting up a home studio, or shooting macro photography. I will also admit that I do not know it all, but I certainly know how to find the answers, the fun thing about this is we learn new things on a daily basis, and learning them together under a fun, and stress less environment. Keeping in mind that photography is subjective, is a very important for you to understand that your signature is the most important part of your photography, how to get to that point is where I come in.

In addition to photography, I teach the post process, Lightroom and Photoshop. These tools are essential in the development process, although not nesessary, these tools can be difficult to manage, but once perfected, become a valuable tool in management and productivity.

To find out more about how we can work together call me at the number listed, or email me for more information about the details. My affordability index is rated very high, I do this more as a passion, rather than for money.
B&C Camera web siteI also teach photography to groups at B&C Camera. Classes at B&C are done in a two week course that will give the beginner photographer a good understanding of how to control your camera rather than letting it control you.
